    What you'll need to have:
    • Strong mechanical abilities and experience, such as proven auto/truck mechanics, ability to diagnose and repair engines problems, all around natural ability to learn anything requiring solid mechanical abilities. This is not facilities or building maintenance, and it is not solely electrical or machining. it is all around general machine maintenance.
    • Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not required..
    • Experience with injection/compression molding would be a plus.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
    • Must possess attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

    What you'll do:
    • Work along side a team of seasoned Maintenance Technicians to provide guidance, training and assistance to shift production workers when needed.
    • Responsible for injection and compression molding machine maintenance for the shift production team. Clear and resolve jams on lines, restart lines and perform minor repairs and adjustments to ensure operational efficiency throughout the 12 hour shift. This includes the hydraulics systems, basic electric systems, and conveyor systems.
    • Properly diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine the necessary repairs, and restore malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delay.
    • Responsible for recognizing, reacting to and adjusting machinery independently when needed to maintain proper machine efficiencies and minimize non-conformances.
    • Monitor materials to insure correct amounts are available throughout the shift.
    • Responsible for minimization of scrap produced and machine downtime in color changes.
