Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Short Term Holidays Contract)

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Contract Duration: Start ASAP and through at least January 6, 2025 (maybe extended but no guarantees)

Shift: Second shift, 1 PM - 11 PM, Monday through Saturday

Pay Rate: $40-$42/hour (Overtime: $60-$64/hour for hours over 40 per week)

Job Description: We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a short-term contract during the holiday shutdown period. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily activities of 6-8 Plant Maintenance UAW employees, ensuring departmental and plant performance goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily activities of maintenance staff.
• Provide customer service support for plant production operations, addressing machinery downtime and supporting PM and PdM initiatives.
• Possess knowledge of factory mechanical equipment, AC/DC electrical systems, power transmission conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and machinery assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups and work effectively with Plant Engineers and other Maintenance Supervisors.
• Lead shop floor efforts in diagnosing equipment issues using root cause failure analysis techniques.
• Plan and schedule downtime maintenance work, optimizing work scope tasks and kitted parts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA plant safety regulations (e.g., NFPA-70E, LOTO, Energized Work Permits, Safe Cell Entry).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in General Plant Industrial and Factory Maintenance Supervision
• Skills in Team Leadership, Project Management, Time Management, and Budgeting
• Strong Work Ethic, Safety and Health Awareness, Training and Development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Maintenance Management Accreditations
• Understanding of Allen Bradley Based PLC Systems
• Familiarity with Atlas Copco Torque Applications or similar
• Experience with Fanuc 5-Axis Transfer Robots and Controller Maintenance
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Mech/EL
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
