Maintenance Technician I
Compass Health Network

Compensation: $18.48 hourly

To provide support services to the assigned facility with regard to maintaining and cleaning the facility including offices, restrooms, showers, equipment, physical plant and grounds in order to provide a safe and clean environment.

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

* Perform general maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, changing bulbs, plunging toilets, and assembling furniture
* Assist in receiving materials and supplies, restocking materials and supplies, and notifying appropriate staff of low materials and supplies
* Other maintenance duties as assigned by individual location
* Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK

Exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials

High School/GED preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

* Working knowledge and understanding of general housekeeping & cleaning methods, and general maintenance methods and procedures preferred
* General knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair preferred
* At least two (2) years' experience in maintenance or janitorial operations preferred
* A valid driver's license at the time of hire required
