Our Portland market is searching for Consultants and Senior Consultants who are growth-minded people, strong in several disciplines, who can effectively lead diverse teams of clients and consultants. Successful candidates are often adaptable self-starters who have the proven ability to create structure in ambiguous environments, offer holistic solutions to challenges, and possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels.
What You'll Do
• Understanding the business objectives of the client to design effective processes, structures and solutions to drive real business benefits.
• Span one or more disciplines - from analysis, process design, project delivery or people strategy - to create holistic approaches to client issues. Desirable candidates include a demonstrated track record in two or more disciplines including business analysis, project/program management, change management and/or people strategy.
• Create and execute improvement plans adapted to the client environment.
• Comfortable mentoring clients, delivering independently, participating as a team member of multi-capability team (management consulting and technical consulting), or lead teams of less experienced consultants and/or clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Design and conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
• Build client knowledge and credibility quickly (projects vary in length, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to more than a year).
• Manage production of project deliverables, budget, and presentations to client personnel and leadership.
What You'll Bring
• 3+ years of experience leading projects in a consulting environment; experience leading projects consisting of 5+ people, or projects over 2,500 labor hours or $500,000 in budget.
• Training in a formal process, delivery management, organization, change and/or learning improvement methodology at an enterprise-level client or employer.
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with technology like cloud, low-code, intelligent process automation or robotic process automation, GenAI or similar.
• Proficient in Agile delivery methods (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
• A history of mentoring and or teaching others to use process, organization, change, and/or learning improvement methodologies.
• Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver enterprise-level projects.
