Manufacturing Controller

Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Controller in Tulare, CA.

As a Controller, you will:

• Provide dynamic leadership to oversee and support the accounting team and inventory coordinator
• Act as a key member of the management team, using in-depth knowledge of the business model and operations to collaborate with other departments and divisions, driving collective progress
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department and contribute to strategic projects across the organization
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, and accuracy in accounting operations and inventory management
• Enhance efficiency in payroll and accounting operations through innovative process improvements
• Prepare and analyze financial performance reports, offering variance explanations.
• Evaluate current and prospective operations to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction
• Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain the standard costing system, ensuring inventory accuracy and proper valuation

This is FULL TIME, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Accounting experience within a manufacturing company - required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in accounting department
• Familiarity with one or more software programs

  • SAP
  • JD Edwards
  • ADP

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
