The Marketing Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support General Marketing functions and projects by utilizing a strong knowledge of industry practices and standards. This role is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of various marketing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
- Develop marketing materials for various platforms.
- Facilitate execution of customer requests to ensure delivery expectations are met.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and execute projects.
- Analyze market data and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Monitor the accuracy of all marketing materials.
- Provide accurate and timely proofing, fact-checking, copywriting, editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of new product launch marketing materials.
- Execute the implementation of merchandising programs for various initiatives, and collaborate with merchandising programs manager to systematically report on key metrics.
- Assists with marketing campaigns as part of the strategic annual plan to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
- Facilitate day-to-day marketing support for various teams.
- Help manage and strategize the development of product sales tools and marketing campaigns to support product launches.
- Develop training materials as needed for new initiatives as needed.
- Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
- Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
- Use innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
- Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
- Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education: - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good understanding of current and trending digital technologies.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, and Premiere.
Competencies: - Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
