Description: Our client is currently seeking a Medical Assistant for their medical clinic in Bonham, TX!
Location: Bonham, TX 75418
Shift start & end times: 7:45am - 5:00pm Lunch 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Work days per week: 5
Work type: Contract
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Room Patients: vitals, medication reconciliation, and charting
- Assist physician with patient care - shots, wound care, etc.
- Perform daily e-fax submissions of referrals, records request, home health orders
- Complete and answer daily calls to update patients of lab results and medical needs
- Daily chart prep/lab request
- Medical Assistant (CMA)
- E-Clinical Works Knowledge
- Prior Medical Office Experience
- Caring for Elderly
- Understanding of Quality Measures
