Job Title: National Account Manager, Grainger

Reports To: National Account Executive, Grainger

Direct Reports/Manages others: No

Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. We offer a wide range of products including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, our famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.

JOB PURPOSE:

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with Grainger National Account Managers and their customers to drive profitable and sustainable growth through Grainger.

You will also be tasked with maintaining and developing strong relationships with all levels and functions within the account and Rust-Oleum to assure growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Objectively assess each sales opportunity, develop, and execute a winning strategy that is highly focused on maintaining and growing sales dollars and profit.
  • Develop and manage assigned Grainger National Account customer base.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with both Grainger NAM's and end user National Accounts.
  • Work with cross-functional teams within Rust-Oleum to support successful execution of programs, business plans and strategic objectives.
  • Work hand in hand with Grainger NAM's to develop strategic, customer-specific programs that can replicated and rolled out to multiple sites.
  • Coordinate program launches with both the Rust-Oleum and Grainger field sales teams to ensure proper execution.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with MRO industrial distribution partners
  • 5 years B2B sales and account management experience
  • Proven team player with strong leadership & communications skills
  • Thorough understanding of Power BI, SAP, PowerPoint, Excel & P&L management.
  • Strong analytical skills-Ability to qualify & quantify opportunities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Excellent presentation, computer & communication skills
  • Self-starter able to manage own time, schedule, and sales quota as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Possess a valid driver's license and able to maintain a motor vehicle record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Rust-Oleum
  • Availability to work and travel as necessary
Position is bonus eligible. Company supplies vehicle, cell phone, laptop and travel reimbursement.
