Cloud Network Architect will be reporting to Cloud team in CTO organization. FCA application landscapes span across data centers and public cloud (AWS and Azure).
Infrastructure implementation tasks include designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting cloud deployments in the public clouds and the inter-connectivity of those environments to existing data centers.
Job Responsibilities: The Cloud Network Engineer is responsible for all network related functions of the cloud.
This includes Routing, Security, Load balancing, IP Address Management, etc. Implementing connectivity solutions for a hybrid Cloud environments and must be comfortable with both Cloud Native and Non-native solutions.
Work with third party infrastructure providers to design and deploy an enterprise scale Cloud network.
Should be capable of handling traffic for large number of servers. Provide network assistance to Cloud Solution architects for the deployment of applications into Cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and integrations with third party vendors, on premise applications.
Document and deploy Cloud based networks and inter connect them to on premise data centers Network troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve connectivity problems Integrate corporate routing schemes with Cloud resident
networks.
Basic Qualifications: 5+ Years of Network Engineer and architect experience.
2+ years of Cloud Engineer/Architect Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other Engineering areas Proficient in verbal, written and presentation skills
Should have excellent understanding of Network routing, DNS, Web Filtering,
WAN/LAN, VNET/VPC Design, Sub-nets, Firewalls, Load balancers, Network Security, Remote Access, Kubernetes etc.
Specific technologies: F5 BigIP Fortinet Fortigates, Fortiweb, Fortimanager Azure and AWS portals and network elements
Preferred qualifications Masters degree in computer science or other Engineering areas.
At-least seven years plus experience working in IT.
AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Certification AWS Security Specialty Certification Azure Solutions Engineer / Architect Expert Certification
Cisco CCNP Cloud Certification
