We are seeking a strategically-minded and innovative Product Lead to spearhead the development and maintenance of our Next Generation Sales Engine (NGSE) initiative. This initiative is a cornerstone of our strategy to establish cutting-edge digital omni-channel sales and marketing capabilities. As the Product Lead, you will be at the forefront of executing projects that deliver on the NGSE vision. Your role will involve coordinating across multiple teams to advance our capabilities in areas such as analytics, lead generation, and sales. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in continuing to transform the marketing and sales function and driving revenue growth for Zoetis US Commercial.

Position Responsibilities

Define and develop product roadmap: establish and communicate clear product visio and strategy, aligned with business objectives; create roadmap for proposed initiatives; ensure that the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized according to business needs; deliver projects from end-to-end

Gather and prioritize business requirements: collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., users, sales leaders, etc.) to collect and prioritize business needs, ensuring they are accurately reflected in the digital capabilities built in NGSE tools; translate business requirements into detailed user stories and user acceptance criteria; maintain product documentation

Develop next-generation marketing and sales tactics: Collaborate with marketing, sales and data science teams to explore new and creative approaches to retaining, upselling, and cross-selling customers and converting leads into growth; translate approaches into digital capabilities that can be built in the NGSE tools for rep execution

Liaison with technical team: act as main point of contact between business users and the technical team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment; partner closely with Data, Digital and Data Science team to ensure timely and effective implementation of features in the tools; lead backlog refinement sessions; conduct rigorous testing and sign-off on release

Drive user adoption and engagement: develop and execute strategies to enhance user adoption and engagement with NGSE tools; provide input to the Change Management support for user training and support initiatives (e.g., new feature / functionality launches, sustainment)

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: communicate product strategy, progress, and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.

Monitor tool performance: define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our digital capabilities; analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure the system meets business needs.

Foster innovation: stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices that can be integrated into sales digital solutions to enhance functionality and user experience.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher - communication, marketing, business, or related fields
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, with experience translating business needs into functional product requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to develop and implement product strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical, sales and marketing teams
  • Experience driving user adoption and managing organizational change, including training and support initiatives.
  • Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating product vision, strategy, and performance to diverse audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial in mindset and goal oriented (self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently)
  • Strong at project management skills ensuring all deadlines are met and objectives are clearly communicated

Technical Skill Requirements

Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks in product development and management.

Position is based in Parsippany, NJ
