Position Summary:Florida Atlantic University, Office of the Registrar is seeking an Associate University Registrar - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assists the Registrar in managing, directing, coordinating, and controlling activities within the Registrar's area.
Serve as the direct supervisor to the Sr. Assistant University Registrar, who oversees FAU's degree audit system and transfer articulation teams.
Serve as the direct supervisor to the office's Residency Coordinator, who manages residency reclassification, non-degree application processing, and 60+ audit registration, and acts as the office's authority on Florida residency matters.
Responsible for all aspects of enrollment reporting and degree verification to the Clearinghouse and NSLDS.
Coordinate with FAU's Institutional Effectiveness Administration on institutional reporting to the Florida Board of Governors (BOG), ensuring timely and accurate submission of data required for reports such as the Student Instruction File (SIF), Student Instruction File - Degrees Awarded (SIFD), Student Instruction File Preliminary (SIFP), and other state reporting requirements as needed.
Responsible for reviewing and addressing BOG error reports for SIF, SIFD, and SIFP.
Act as the primary lead for the Registrar's Office in overseeing Banner Student maintenance, configuration, and testing of Banner upgrades.
Assists in the daily operations of the Office, ensuring compliance with the University, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.
Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure proper storage, security, accuracy, and preservation of academic credentials in accordance with university policy, state regulations, and privacy laws.
Responsible for evaluating programs and operating systems to improve university registrar operations.
Performs related duties as required or deemed appropriate to the accomplishment of the responsibilities and functions of the office.
Serve on various institutional committees.
