Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a 100% full-time assistant, associate, or full professor within the Department of Business Administration. The position is in the Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics (IOSA) area within the Department of Business Administration.
We seek candidates who will bring excellence to campus via outstanding research, teaching, and service. Candidates will ideally conduct research in the domain of information systems, business analytics, and operations and supply chain management. Research methods of interest include but are not restricted to empirical modeling, behavioral or field experiments, data analytics, machine learning, operations research, and game theory. An ability to teach courses at graduate and undergraduate levels with different delivery formats, e.g., online or in-person is desirable. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in information systems, business analytics, operations management, supply chain management, or a related field.

The Department of Business Administration is a large and diverse unit, which includes graduate and undergraduate programs across eight academic areas (i.e., Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, International Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain). SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain an active and productive program of research in one or more of the following: information systems, business analytics, operations and supply chain management.
- Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels
- Perform service for the department.
- Provide leadership in the department and the university.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates at advanced ranks must possess a Ph.D. degree; candidates for assistant professor should expect to have completed their doctoral degree by June 1, 2025.
- Strong research portfolio.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- Leadership potential commensurate with position sought.
SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION This is a 9-month, 100%-time academic tenure-track position with the opportunity for summer appointment. The expected start date is negotiable.
The budgeted salary range for these positions is $190,000-$200,000 at the Assistant Professor level, $200,000-$215,000 at the Associate Professor level, and $215,000-$255,000 at the Professor level. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
