Responsibilities

Research assistant position responsible for conducting research such as doing genetic crosses, dissections, microscopy and behavioral studies on fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster).
Lab maintenance such as prepping solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher (BS, BA, MS, or PhD) in an appropriate field.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer an applicant with some research experience in molecular biology, genetics, confocalmicroscopy, computer programming, managing employees, and/or bioinformatics skills.

At least one year of experience working in a research setting.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated Salary is $17 an hour
