Paralegal

St. Louis based organization is seeking a Paralegal to join their growing team. This Paralegal would report to the General Counsel as well as the Director of Operations, and be tasked with both compliance/transactional and litigation-based tasks. Specific Paralegal duties will include:

• Assisting attorneys with the tax appeal process for commercial properties
• Organizing and tracking internal documents, including tax appeals
• Coordinating and tracking responses to discovery requests and other court deadlines
• Managing FOIA requests and responses
• Serving as a liaison between internal departments and external organizations
• Updating a proprietary database
• Conducting legal research and tracking updates to various regulations

Previous experience working as a Paralegal is strongly preferred. Must have good technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
