Job Description:
Performs general routine work in simple food preparation, serving and cleanup tasks. The hours are as follows: 7 am - 11 am, weekends off and work every other holiday. This part-time position is scheduled to work 40 hours every 2 weeks. Hourly pay is $15.42 per hour and while working you also earn $3 hour, which brings it to $18.42 per hour! We do have a commuter bonus available for those who live 30+ miles away, conditions do apply. This position is eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, and they are pro-rated.

Knowledge of: personal hygiene, basic kitchen equipment supplies and utensils; basic foodstuffs such as fruits, vegetables, bakery goods, meats and poultry; food preparation procedures for salads, sandwiches, short order items and other routinely prepared foods; facility standards and procedures for the cleaning of dishes, utensils, equipment and facilities; food sanitation and food preparation schedules.

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: There are no specific education or experience requirements.

Ability to: understand and follow facility kitchen and dining room safety practice; safely use knives and handle hot equipment or utensils; follow instructions; tolerate high temperature and high humidity; communicate effectively with facility residents, patients or members; bend, stoop, lift and carry food items equipment and supplies; stand on feet for long periods of time and walk long distances.
