Part-Time Head Track and Field Coach
POSITION: Part-Time Head Track and Field Coach: Coach, Athletics Department; Haverhill Campus; up to 18 hours/week
REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics, Recreation and Intramurals
SCHEDULE: Current Schedule is Monday - Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include:
- All aspects of coaching in a NJCAA Program:
- Planning and Directing Practice
- Meet Preparation
- Development of a competitive athletic program
- Recruiting of student-athletes
- Advising team members
- Participation in department events and initiatives.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.
- Associate's Degree or two years of college credit
- Previous coaching experience at the club, high school or collegiate level
- Applicant must have an appreciation for Junior College athletics and demonstrate a sincere commitment to the principles of academic/athletic integrity
- Must have a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population
BACKGROUND CHECK: Candidates will be required to pass a CORI and SORI check as a condition of employment.

SALARY: $6,000.00, Non-benefited position
