Payroll Associate

Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $22.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Associate at Chicago, IL.
We are looking for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data entry, calculations, and deductions for multiple states. Someone who can analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Validate payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Generate required adhoc and standardized reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, Finance, and Legal, to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll administration.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems specifically SAP GV ADP and Workday.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
