SUMMARY
The Process Engineer will be vital in optimizing and improving our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. The successful candidate will analyze existing processes, identify improvement areas, and implement solutions to drive operational excellence. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Core team member for product and process risk analysis.
* Conduct detailed analyses of current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, maintenance, and management, to develop and implement process improvements.
* Design, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and tools to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
* Create/maintain CAD drawings.
* Utilize process simulation software and other tools to model, optimize, and validate proposed improvements.
* Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma projects to drive waste reduction and process optimization.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and ensure smooth production operations.
* Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to process engineering and manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in engineering/sciences or 5+ years of experience working in a technical engineering role.
* 2+ years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
* Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
* Relevant certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is advantageous.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Conversational in any other language preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
* Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
* Statistics: Interpret and analyze numerical data using statistical methods.
JOB SKILLS
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
* Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as charter, risk register, and timeline.
* Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD, or similar tools.
* Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
* Write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
* Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
* Proven track record of designing and implementing successful process improvements that resulted in tangible operational benefits.
* Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards applicable to manufacturing processes.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
* Good team player with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
* Strong communication skills to effectively convey standards and procedures.
* Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders or special projects to meet customer or internal demands.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements outlined below indicate those necessary to fulfill this position's core responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a work environment where employees typically work inside a facility and perform various tasks related to storing, processing, and shipping goods and materials. Some of the everyday activities that a warehouse worker does are preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits, keeping a clean and safe working environment, and optimizing space utilization and operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.

TRAVEL
Approximately 10% travel expected.
SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $75K and $85K hourly/annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Carlisle Interconnect Technologies considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.
