The ideal candidate for this position must be familiar with Navien and the boiler and hydronics industry, with a focus on condensing products. They must have a strong background and understanding in the overall boiler market, from floor standing to wall mount products, along with the direction of the industry in the future. They are experienced with the processes and procedures of product development and product management and must be a person of integrity. They must also be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment. Essential attributes include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to multitask and remain focused in high-pressure situations. In addition, the product manager must be highly self-motivated, have a positive attitude and be resourceful and enthusiastic about creating growth. Responsibilities:
- Assist in Development of Market-Specific Promotional Collateral, Demonstrations, and Tutorials.
- Conduct ongoing market research and staying knowledgeable about industry trends
- Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, technical and sales operations
- Work with Marketing to create high-impact internal and customer-facing materials, communicating the value and unique advantages of the product portfolio
- Provide business analysis of varying markets to support new product development requests.
- Enroll in various awards continuously for the entire product portfolio
- Lead competitive benchmarking activities to identify and address product gaps (customer surveys, online research, other benchmarking methodologies, VOC etc.)
- Collaborate closely with parent company KD Navien's engineering and business teams on product development requirements and business needs
- Perform market research & customer sensing activities required to refine product designs.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Sales to ensure profitable growth of the product portfolio and successful execution of various product development projects
- Establish and manage relationships with multiple OEM suppliers to ensure product quality, competitiveness, market relevance for all of Navien's boiler products and accessories
- Communicate with marketing, product management, sales, business development, and SCM to ensure successful product lifecycle management
- Provide product leadership at customer and internal events & meetings
- Lead various cross-functional teams in product planning requiring in-house and field onboarding
- Develop market requirements documents to create a business case for products
- Assist product development with current and future products
- Design and implement product launches for all online/offline channels
- Co-develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering - or 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Must have 3+ years product management or sales experience with the boiler market in North America
- Experience with product lifecycle management from concept to production a plus
- Self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of presentation/public speaking skills and strong customer service skills
- Ability to drive/travel - approximately 30% out of town travel required. (5% international travel)
- The ability to manage several projects at once under deadline pressure is also essential
- An ability to understand, research, writes and delivers summaries on a range of business issues
Preferred Qualifications: - Strong research and development background
- Able to critically analyze market trends and develop a go to market plan
- Experience with both non-condensing and condensing products, commercial and residential
- An above average understanding of the Boiler product sales channels and distribution

PAY SCALE: $110,000 - $120,000 DOE plus Annual Bonus Opportunity!Benefits: - PPO Medical, Dental, Ortho, Vision, Rx, LTD and Life Insurance
