Volt is immediately hiring for a Food Production Coordinator in Oakland, CA. If you have food production experience in a cold room storage environment and strong administrative and coordination skills, apply now!
We are willing to train a motivated candidate with cold room food industry experience.
Compensation: $30-$35/Hr. (Willing to offer higher compensation for candidates with additional skills, experience, and qualifications.)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
Schedule:

Day Shift: Sunday - Thursday (9AM- 5:30PM)

What We're Looking For: - MUST BE BILINGUAL (Spanish and English)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Cold room food manufacturing experience
As a
Production Coordinator you will:

Schedule Planning: Create weekly and daily schedules
-
Raw Material Prep: Submit transfer requests and ensure production needs are covered
-
Team Communication: Coordinate product distribution with the warehouse

Project Completion: Check out production items with the Production Manager and audit piece counts, prepare for invoicing

Floor Management: Assist with setup and management and substitute for Production Floor Management as needed

Standards and Documentation: Maintain product specifications and develop SOPs and ensure equipment training

Production Scheduling: Create weekly schedules with the core team

Staff Scheduling: Set hourly staff schedule

Reporting: Document post-production inventory and prepare weekly reports

Customer Communication: Balance requests with internal needs

Compliance: Maintain compliance documentation and complete weekly sign-offs
