Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Project Coordinator will work for the Professor of Public Scholarship and Engagement in the Office of the President. The mission is to engage with centers, institutes, faculty and staff to promote public scholarship and to foster engagement with community partners, resulting in research, teaching and learning opportunities. This position will be responsible for monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
Level Scope:
Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development. Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training.
Essential Functions:
60% of Time the Project Coordinator, Associate must:
• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
• Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensure project deadlines are met.
• Determine project changes.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Develop project strategies.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

40% of Time the Project Coordinator, Associate
Determined by department needs
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to work on tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary up to $51,973 annually and is commensurate with experience. Boise State University provides a best-in-class benefits package, including (but not limited to):
