Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and executing remodeling and renovation projects across the district. Additionally, the role involves supporting planned capital projects related to building systems. Oversee and manage the maintenance of BIM processes, standards, and models for all FVTC buildings, and model coordination with consulting firms.

Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Oversee the maintenance and updating of the College's building REVIT models in collaboration with architects, internal staff, and Akitabox. Schedule annual updates of the master models and manage secure access for architects and engineers in coordination with IT Administration. Develop and implement REVIT/BIM standards and protocols for model access and updates by architects & engineers.
• Provide building data to internal customers and generate WTCS reports.
• Provide training and support to team members on REVIT modeling.
• Plan, coordinate and lead remodeling, renovation and building capital projects, district wide as assigned. Oversee preparation and review project documents produced by FVTC architectural and engineering consultants. Work with internal customers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Coordinate, inspect and approve work of outside contractors involved with capital projects. Approve project payments.
• In conjunction with the Finance Department, prepare Requests for Quotes, Invitations for Bids or Requests for Proposals for remodeling, renovation, maintenance and repair projects.
• Assist with Facilities' planned maintenance projects (flooring, painting, ceiling tiles and interior design) district wide as assigned.
• Develop cost estimates for capital construction project requests.
• Develop and manage budgets for capital expenditures related to areas of responsibility.
• Assist with maintaining the FVTC Construction Specification Standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Design.​
• Four to five years of recent, related work experience in managing capital projects.
• Two years of experience creating and modifying Autodesk Revit models and experience in Autodesk AutoCAD.

Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Requires a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lead and coordinate with and without direct reporting relationship.
• Ability to communicate effectively, oral and written, with a wide variety of internal and external audiences.
• Ability to competently analyze, develop, coordinate, and improve facilities processes.
• Subject to FVTC's Motor Vehicle Records Disclosure Check.

Work Environment

• Work will be completed in a hybrid environment, both in person and virtually.

Work environment may change based upon college needs.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting: This role requires extended periods of sitting while performing tasks and utilizing computer systems.
• Mobility: Mobility around the campus locations is needed.
• Lifting and Carrying: The role requires occasional/continuous lifting and carrying of light to moderate items.
• Climbing: Capability to climb stairs or ladders.
• Fine Motor Skills: This role may need precise hand movements or manual dexterity for activities such as using computers.
• Repetitive Motions: Capacity to perform repetitive motions, such as typing, without discomfort or injury.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees, candidates, and stakeholders, both in-person and through electronic means.
• Travel: This position will require travel to other locations.
• Driving: Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $79,500 - $93,500 per year.
Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data. Note: Internal applicants' wage will be based upon the applicable compensation guidelines.
