Title: Project Manager - III
Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hybrid in office 8 days a month
Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars with the input and assistance of transition leads
• Interface directly with Federal customers & management at multiple levels
• Facilitate team meetings, providing meeting minutes and action items where needed
• Build strong communication channels with internal stakeholders in various departments: Sales, Ordering, Implementation, Tracking, Billing, Systems.
• Track tasks assigned to the project team and prepare regular status reports
• Responsible for tracking project changes and producing updated schedules
• Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
• Ensure smooth communication within the project team and other cross-functional teams
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis
• Drive timely delivery of results in accordance with project timelines, working through any hurdles that may arise.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
• Bachelor's Degree & at least 5 yrs Demonstrated experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.
• Strong demonstrated Communications skills, dealing with key customers at management levels both written and verbally.
• Familiarity with VOIP telecommunications services.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• A current PMP certification.
• A strong working ability with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Demonstrated success in motivating & influencing teams to deliver outcomes and results.
• Strong familiarity with client tools and products
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree - minimum
PMP Certification - preferred
