Provider Contract Director
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the posted Elevance Health locations.
The Provider Contract Director leads key contract administration functions and/or initiatives across the enterprise and serves as subject matter expert regarding contract language and contract administration.
How you will make an impact:
- Leads the development and implementation of enterprise contract management/administration strategies, processes and systems across the company.
- Works to drive the adoption and use of standardized contracts, contract language and contract platforms.
- Works with contract negotiators to identify best practice solutions to contract needs and helps educate contract negotiators on contract language impacts.
- Leads contract reviews to ensure that contract terms and language can be implemented efficiently. Researches and quantifies impact to contract modifications.
- Manages special projects and initiatives.
- Represents the department and serves as a key contributor on enterprise initiatives, projects, and task forces.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 10 years business and professional experience in contracting, provider relations, and provider servicing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Masters degree preferred.
