Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Seniort Software Developer our Queens Public Library Team located in Jamaica, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

The developer will be using Java/Kotlin to develop the Android application. They will participate in daily stand-up meetings, brainstorm with the team on app features, and architect the new app to ensure better UI/UX. The developer will also resolve any reported issues from QA and support other team members, including BA, QA, and developers, to build a better product.

Experience Required:

60 - 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

• 60 Months of experience in Android Apps Development.
• 60 Months of experience in JAVA programing Language
• 12 Months of experience in third party SDK, libraries and APIs
• 36 Months of experience in working with remote data via REST and JSON
• 12 months of experience in React Native mobile app development.
• 36 Months of experience in Agile projects.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $55.00 and $65.00
