Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring the delivery of potatoes into the plant.
Job Description
Shift: Grave B
Individuals in this position must:
- Participate in the safety engagement process. This includes giving I Care huddles, conducting area assessments, and addressing all safety concerns with the Production Team Lead.
- Check bays to determine how full they are of the product.
- Assist the incoming trucks into the proper bay area to unload.
- Perform a thorough inspection of the belts to make sure they are working properly
- Eliminate plug-ups and ensure there is no overflow.
- Monitor the unloading of the product and ensure 100% of product at all times.
- Ensure there is no foreign material going into the line
- Must take samples of the product at the beginning/middle/end of unloading the for WSDA and Lamb Weston Richland QA
- Clean work area to reduce mess which may include shoveling, sweeping, etc.
- Must have experience using computers
- Must be familiar with all equipment in the receiving area.
- Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications & Experience The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job. To successfully perform this job and individual must:
- Must be sanitation qualified
- Must be forklift certified. If not, must meet requirements to become forklift certified.
- Must be Lock/Out-Tag/Out qualified

Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Skills Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation and other employees of the organization.
