Position Summary

The Tepe laboratory in the Chemistry Department of Michigan State University has openings for multiple highly motivated postdoctoral candidates in the general areas of organic chemistry and chemical biology. The successful candidate should have documented success in research including publications in international journals on relevant topics.

Minimum Requirements

PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry

Desired Qualifications

Candidates specialized in organic chemistry must have demonstrated productivity in the synthesis of heterocyclic molecules or natural products.

Candidates specialized in chemical biology must have demonstrated productivity in cell culture, Western blotting, affinity labeling, transfections and other standard biochemical techniques.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently as well as in a collaborative environment are required.
