RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE CUSTOMER SUPERVISOR

Under general supervision ensures residential facilities are properly maintained, repaired, and clean. manages residential facilities maintenance staff.

• Facilitates non-emergency service and maintenance activities. Performs follow-up to ensure work was completed to satisfaction.
• Facilitates emergency service and repairs as needed.
• Oversees daily work of the Residential Maintenance Staff.
• Coordinates project plans and follow-up on status as needed for all maintenance and repairs that are large in scope.
• Facilitates vendor/contractor access to resident rooms as needed for service and repairs.
• Prepares purchase requisitions for service, maintenance, and repairs as needed.
• Maintains contract listing of all service and maintenance providers.
• Monitors completion status of all work orders submitted by students and staff.
• Facilitates room make-ready processes and ensure that all rooms are ready to occupy prior to scheduled move-in dates.
• Ensures controls over keys are adhered to when being provided to staff and vendors for service and repairs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Position requires some evening and weekend on-call duty.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Valid Texas Driver's License preferred.

Knowledge of:

• Policies, procedures, facilities practices.
• Supervisory techniques.

• Both verbal and written communication.

• Prepare detailed reports.

Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.

• Reach and grasp objects.
• Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, lift or crawl.
• Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skill.
• Communicate information verbally and in writing.
• Receive and understand information through verbal and written communication.
• Work a fluctuating work schedule.
• Exposure to unpleasant elements.
• Moderate to heavy physical activity.
