We are currently seeking a Safety Intern on our Safety Consulting team in Minneapolis, MN.

MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience.Learn to apply the concepts you've learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You'll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency's internship program will give you the chance to observe the Safety field and gain the opportunity to work in a variety of industries. MMA's goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire.

We will count on you to:

Be an organized, proactive, team player that provides support to our Safety Consultant team in both the Duluth and Minneapolis offices. The Intern will support the Consultants with both in-office tasks and in the field visiting clients. Our goal is to help our clients improve their overall risk management strategies.

What you need to have:

• Pursuing degree in Environmental, Health and Safety field or similar.
• Must be detailed with excellent organizational & time management skills.
• Ability to be flexible & pivot approach when working directly with various colleagues.
• Ability to effectively build & maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and peers.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.
• Reliable transportation for travel to client sites, consisting primarily of day trips to client locations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
