Baer is looking for SAP ABAP Developer M&A for a 3+ month remote project.

Title: SAP ABAP Developer M&A
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2

Description:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs and reports to support M&A processes and integration across various SAP systems, including SAP ECC, BW, cFolders, and AII.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design technical solutions to address M&A-related needs.
• Write and optimize complex ABAP code to ensure system performance and stability.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for development and enhancements.
• Conduct unit tests, systems, integration, and acceptance tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Perform performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs and related systems to ensure optimal system performance.
• Engage with other technical teams (e.g., Basis, Functional, and Integration teams) to coordinate the design, development, and deployment of solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting expertise for ABAP issues, ensuring quick resolution of incidents and minimizing impact on business operations.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, particularly with SAP ECC, BW, cFolders, and AII.
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP programming and a deep understanding of SAP technical architecture.
• Proven expertise in ABAP debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Experience with M&A activities in SAP environments, particularly in integrating multiple systems and ensuring smooth transitions during acquisitions or mergers.
• Familiarity with SAP's integration tools and techniques (e.g., ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services).
