SCA Customer Care Team Lead
Location(s): This is a virtual role, the ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of one of the NGS Elevance Health Office; Harrisburg, PA, Denison, TX, South Portland, ME, Hingham, MA, Indianapolis, IN, Baltimore, MD and Syracuse, NY

Pay: The pay for this position varies by location and is set by the government.

National Government Services is a proud member of Elevance Health's family of brands. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs.

The SCA Customer Care Team Lead acts as a team lead in reviewing requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies for the NGS business unit. Able to perform all complex functions.

How you will make an impact:
  • Oversees all daily activities of NGS Customer Service Reps.
  • Troubleshoots specific problems/issues.
  • Performs quality audits and other unit CPE measurements.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to unit.
  • Participates on management teams.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a High School diploma or GED; 5 + years NGS Customer Service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
    • Knowledge of Medicare, specifically Part A and Home Health and Hospice
    • Ability to multi-task is preferred.
    • Flexible working non-traditional work hours (Schedule Monday thru Friday - 7:45am to 4:15pm, 8:45am to 5:15pm, or 9:45am to 6:15pm. Call Center is open from 8am eastern to 7pm eastern.
    • Strong communication skills is strongly preferred.

    For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $21.92- 23.02

    Locations: Maryland and New York
