Seeking a Senior Project Cost Accountant in Deerfield Beach, FL / Boca Raton, Florida.

Senior Cost Accountant performs a variety of high volume account/ledger analysis

Job Duties

• Creates month-end journal entries and reconciles general ledger accounts.
• Ad hoc analysis
• Analyze cost varienace
• Calculate PO's and negotiate costs
• Speadhead project analysis
• Maintain financial statements
• Process and control inventory costs and reconciliations
• Accrurals
• Cost of good analysis
• Audit prep
• Implement financial processes
• Monitor annual budgets
• Track budgets and invoicing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• 3+ years' related experience
• GAAP
• Construction experience or relevant industry experience required
