This position is remote, USA.

We are currently seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator/ Business Analyst who will be responsible for supporting CRM applications for field sales, internal sales operations, service, and marketing business functions. This includes providing support, direction and strategy for the company's CRM System (Salesforce), while staying current on Salesforce best practices, technologies, and certifications, responding to user requests, assisting with developing solutions to address business needs, and managing and resolving support tickets. This role will play a vital role in proactively identifying opportunities to support additional business functions and collaborating with various stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to identify, design, and deploy solutions that enhance core business processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with managers, functional leaders, organizational units, vendors, and subject matter experts to identify, architect, develop and deploy solutions that enhance and support our core business processes. This includes providing recommendations to enhance user experience, platform utilization, and alignment with company strategy, while reducing technical debt, and advocating for utilizing best practices in deployments, data management, testing, and development processes.
  • Researching and tracking changes in upcoming versions of Salesforce.com in order to provide recommendations for productivity enhancements, and subsequently creating and maintaining documentation for users, including processes and approval processes and workflow.
  • Identifying potential third-party products/applications and determine when it is appropriate to include external application developers to meet business requirements and timelines, and as needed work with third-party vendors and Salesforce premier support to resolve issues.
  • Managing overall support for Salesforce, including resolving support tickets and responding to Salesforce user requests in a timely manner and assisting with developing solutions that address ongoing business needs. Perform frequent data quality checks to ensure Salesforce data is accurate, including meeting all compliance requirements and standards.
  • Translate business requirements and user stories into working solutions using appropriate configuration, development and testing approaches.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality, including Salesforce report and dashboard builder, customization, and maintenance of Salesforce.com and related software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree (IT, software development, or a related field will be a plus), along with Salesforce Administrator Certification. Salesforce Developer experience/certification will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills that enable effective teamwork, collaboration and conflict management/resolution. Must possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data management and data quality assurance, demonstrating attention to detail coupled with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with Agile methodology, successful project management in an Agile environment.
  • Continuous improvement, Gemba, Kaizen, Problem Solving Process, 5-Why
