About the Position:

This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The Admission Slate CRM business analyst supports Undergraduate Admission and key admission stakeholders across campus to ensure efficient and effective implementation and maintenance of Slate CRM functionality. Act as a key liaison across functional users and Operations staff to develop CRM best practice solutions. Operational support includes reviewing and prioritizing requests for modifications/enhancements, maintaining key functionality/workflow, and developing training documentation and security within Slate CRM.

Essential Functions:

  • Operational Support - Implementation and ongoing maintenance of Slate CRM solutions to improve business processes and fulfill strategic goals of Undergraduate Admissions departments; Business requirements gathering, documentation, and process design to evaluate requests for new functionality and modifications to existing functionality; identify and resolve issues and escalate when needed by submitting service requests with Technolutions; Maintain required setup in Slate for yearly recruiting cycles and coordinate cycle updates with external vendors; Support integration of admissions application materials through the university imaging system, Perceptive Content; Manage and oversee data integration between Slate and Peoplesoft SIS; Other projects as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting - Data quality assurance thru regular audits to ensure data integrity; extract data from various sources including Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Slate CRM systems for auditing data integration; Support all undergraduate admission departments as well as other departments across the university with Slate CRM query & reporting needs.
  • Training & Documentation- Responsible for training undergraduate admission recruiting and operations staff on Slate CRM functionality; Develop and maintain training and business process documentation.
  • Security Administrator - Fulfill security requests for Slate CRM for admissions staff including users across the university; Develop quarterly security audits.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree is required.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required. Previous experience as a business analyst strongly desired. Candidate with experience working in an Admissions/Higher Education setting is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Candidate with knowledge of Slate CRM is highly preferred; SQL experience is required. Technical experience including PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Perceptive Content or closely related systems is a plus. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn new software applications. Candidate must also demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS office functionality.

Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.

Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
