Sr. Developer - Java

Our client is seeking a seasoned Sr. Developer - Java to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in software development, particularly in Java and AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of business and technical IT solutions, leveraging their expertise in software development life cycle methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement business and technical IT solutions
- Participate in standard business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions
- Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems
- Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment and technical context
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of IT solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
- Define project scope, plans, and deliverables, including proposed implementation dates
- Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional experience in a similar role
- 5+ years of experience developing in AWS
- 5+ years of Java experience
- Full stack developer capabilities
- Strong knowledge in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, knowledge engineering, industry expertise, or legacy evolution
