Program Coordinator
This position is in the School of Nursing and Health Studies' (SONHS) and reports to the Sr. College Recruiter and serves as a program coordinator for SONHS academic programs. This position works closely with key personnel to implement the School's comprehensive recruitment plan, brainstorm new recruitment strategies, and market SONHS programs to recruit a top-notch and diverse student body.
The approximate breakdown of duties is divided into the following areas: Implement and assess a recruitment plan (50%); Travel to strategic areas to represent SONHS programs and support school-wide open houses, academic fairs, and informational sessions (10%); Leverage data, digital technology, and communication tools for recruitment (30%); assist in management of Student Ambassadors (10%).
The ideal applicant will be able to travel locally and will possess excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. It is also important that applicants be able to be self-directed as well as collaborative as a member of the Student Recruitment team. At least two years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree in health science, higher education, marketing, nursing, public health, public relations, or a related field is required.
