Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Benefits: Shared housing and 3 meals/day provided; 3 days off most weeks; $500 Travel Bonus and $500 End of Term Bonus

Work experience: Previous hospitality or service positions preferred. Management experience preferred.

Essential Functions:
The Support Staff Team Leader will ensure Silver Cliff Ranch is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by managing the Support Staff Team.
1. Oversee five staff members to ensure daily and weekly tasks are completed efficiently and completely.
2. Check in with staff members and provide feedback to Silver Cliff leadership as needed.
3. Motivate staff members to meet expectations while instilling our values of people first, lead with curiosity, and create an inclusive space for all of our guests.
4. Hold staff members accountable for their work.
5. Assist with the serving of three meals per day.
6. Assist in cleaning the campus after groups leave including cleaning cabins and bathrooms, performing laundry duties, cleaning main gathering spaces, and other duties as assigned.
7. Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and Dining Hall after every meal.
8. Offer support and assistance to groups as requested.
9. Assist in maintaining facility grounds and reporting any maintenance hazards or issues.
10. Complete end of day tasks as assigned.
11. Always provide guests with a high level of customer service to all guests.
12. Execute other duties assigned by the Deputy Executive Director.

Measurable Deliverables:
1. Complete weeklong orientation and training to become confident in the role and build rapport and connections with co-workers.
2. Assist with serving over 15,000 meals to guests of all ages from around the country.
3. Set a high bar for customer service and hospitality.
4. Lead the successful completion of at least ten campus-wide turn around clean up days.
5. Ensure each group arrives to a clean, hazard-free campus.

Credentials, Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to lead a team, relate and work well with others and peers.
2. Must be a good communicator and motivator.
3. Must be a self-starter and organizer.
4. Ability to accept guidance, direction, and supervision.
5. Proficiency in the safe and proper use of cleaning equipment and tools.
6. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds including unloading food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
7. Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards of the site and facilities and guest behavior.
8. Ability to provide First Aid and to assist guests in an emergency once certified.
9. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
10. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
11. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
12. Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
c. Provide excellent customer service using organizational and planning skills.
d. Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
e. Work in a fast-paced environment and always maintain emotional control and professional composure.
f. Maintain computer literacy required meet the responsibilities of the position
g. Work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
13. Willingness to learn and demonstrate a working knowledge of Silver Cliff Ranch policies and procedures.
14. Maintain Silver Cliff Ranch professional and ethical standards including demonstrating respect for staff, children, and community members and always complying with required dress code.
