Description: Our client is currently seeking a Surgical Technologist to join their team!

Scope of role:

Location: Seattle, WA

Hours: 6:45 - 5:25

Job Engagement: Contract

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Serves in the scrub role during assigned procedures.
• Places equipment and supplies in operating room and arranges instruments, according to instruction.
• Maintains supply of fluids and medications labeled and ready for use during operation.
• Hands instruments and supplies to surgeon, holds retractors, and performs other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation within scope of practice.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgical team and facilitates the progress of the surgical procedure.
• Effectively coordinates equipment, supplies and instrumentation according to surgeons preference cards. Collaborates with members of the surgical team in the updating and maintenance of preference cards.
• Functions competently within multiple specialty areas and serves in a flexible scrub role with minimal notice

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma to GED required
• Graduate from a school of surgical technology
• BLS certificate
• Registered as a surgical technician in Washington state
