This is a hybrid role, 12pm-8 pm shift.

Our client is currently seeking a System Engineer
Responsible for the operation, performance and availability of OnPrem Microsoft server systems, Linux Servers, virtual appliances, hardware, Active Directory, Certificate Services, Exchange, SCCM/MCEM, SharePoint, and Federation Services, backup software and backups, DR Orchestration software, and any other software required. Primary operating systems to be responsible for are Windows Server OS, Linux Server OS, and any other OS required. This position will take ownership of the systems including patching, upgrades, migrations, expansions, system builds, system decommissioning, vulnerability remediation, support documentation, and problem resolution. The primary focus will be on Windows & Linux OS's but other operating systems will be encountered including appliance systems as well as various applications. Additional support for Windows OS and Linux will also be part of the day-to-day role. Must possess hands on ability to execute creative solutions to complex problems. Must be able to balance the ability to work independently and be a part of a high-performance team. Professionally interact with user groups while keeping Information Services management fully appraised of the status of his/her projects. This job is for OnPrem systems. This job requires onsite at Bensalem for first 90 days before transitioning to work from home. There will still be local branches which will require onsite visits as needed and OnCall rotations onsite.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong foundation in Windows servers, windows services (including Print, GPO, AD Sites and Services, DHCP, DNS, IIS, and others), and Windows maintenance and monitoring.
• Build and maintain Windows and Linux server OS's and templates for both production and non-production as well follow established documentation for the build process.
• Application support for servers. Thorough understanding of the core applications of Microsoft of Exchange, Domain Controllers, SharePoint, SCCM, Certificate Services (and certificate rotation), Federated services and understanding of how DNS and DHCP works on any OS. a.
• Application support for OnPrem Exchange admin functions (connectors, relays, policies, Edge/HUB roles).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years hands on Microsoft and/or Linux experience (design and implementation).
• 5+ years Windows OS as it relates to servers.
• Bachelor's degree in technical field; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• A solid understanding of Windows Servers and their roles and features.
