Holman - a Computerworld 2024 "Best Places to Work in IT" company - is hiring a Technology Product Portfolio Manager - Salesforce Service Cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of technology product owners and business analysts that support a portfolio of technology platforms.
  • Assume the role of technology product manager for a given technology platform within the portfolio when necessary.
  • Mentor and coach technology product owners and business analysts to enhance their skills and career development.
  • Ensure the product(s) vision and strategy align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps to ensure they reflect strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and feedback are integrated into the technology strategy.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development.
  • Guide your team in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlogs within your portfolio.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales).
  • Address and resolve conflicts within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to experiment and learn from successes and failures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the software development life cycle.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops to keep the team updated on best practices and emerging trends in the technology product management industry.
  • Ensure a strong customer focus in all product development activities, incorporating customer feedback and usability testing.
  • Ensure that all technology products comply with relevant regulations and manage any associated risks.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and team performance.
  • Ensure the right resources are in place to meet goals.
  • Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Overseeing all stages of technology product creation, including design and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress at each stage of the process.
  • Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
  • Oversee the Participating in Scrum meetings and produce sprint plans.
  • Orchestrate a variety of stakeholders to achieve a shared vision for a portfolio of products goals and priorities.
  • Research and define the stakeholders served by the systems within your portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of customer goals, the value customers derive from the portfolio, and the business capabilities and strategies.
  • Analyze competing offerings or capabilities, including alternatives that users/customers might use, to understand how to offer differentiated products or services that customers prefer.
  • Maintain a full platform life cycle perspective and balance short-term achievements with long-term goals (such as minimizing technical debt, while maximizing resiliency).
  • Work closely with business leaders, third party providers and the rest of IT to ensure that our systems robustly support the Company's product offerings.
  • Key interface between business/customer stakeholders and IT organization.
  • Propose system changes and enhancements by liaising with the appropriate vendors, users, and IT Teams.
  • Assist in architecting the system integrations.
  • Manage product support for all products within your portfolio.
  • Responsible for participating in key deployment activities, learning the software, overseeing the release of software changes, and providing appropriate training to ensure utilization of the products.
  • Ensure problems are properly investigated to resolve application errors, data discrepancies, performance issues, etc.
  • Manage all technical aspects on projects requiring knowledge of the applications.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Relevant Experience and Education:
  • 8+ years' experience, including 5+ at a leadership level
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master's preferred
  • Salesforce Service Cloud experience a plus

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $112,160.00 - $176,645.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
