Job Description

A Traveling Technician is responsible for completing the following tasks:

  • Service, calibrate, commission, troubleshoot and repair a variety of meters, pumps, registers, and other petroleum equipment
  • Maintain required performance and maintenance records, and accurate DOT logs/paperwork
  • Start up and service tanker truck terminal load rack equipment, ethanol skids, and other petroleum equipment
  • Install and repair grounding and overfill prevention systems
  • Warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency service work
  • Equipment testing to check operation
  • 90% overnight weekday travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • HS Graduate or equivalent; Tech/trade school training is a plus
  • Outstanding driving record with respect to observing driving regulations and federal/state/local motor vehicle laws
  • Required to have a valid State Driver's License with the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license with hazmat endorsement upon hire
  • Experience with mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and an analytical aptitude
