Unit Coordinator- Ellison 10 Cardiac Stepdown Unit

Why This Role Is Important?

Ellison 10 is seeking a medical Administrator for a Unit Coordinator position, with availability evenings,Saturday and every Sunday, with potential rotational holiday coverage.

Ellison 10-Cardiac Stepdown, is a 36-bed adult fast-paced unit that provides intermediate level care to patients who require cardiac monitoring for malignant arrhythmias, unstable coronary syndromes or other cardiac and medical disorders. Patients are admitted via the Emergency Department, ICU/CCU, procedural areas or are transferred from other New England Hospitals.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred

    • Medical or health care experience desirable, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates.

    • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and procedures

    • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with diverse groups of patients, staff and providers

    • Demonstrated ability to solve basic patient and practice problems
