University Student Supervisor Adjunct

Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill an adjunct position for the Spring 2025 academic semester (Jan. 13th - May 10th, 2025) supervising Student Teachers in math, social science, and English language arts classes in secondary education class settings.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Teaching / Education in social science, english or an administrative degree
• Current teaching or administrative certification in Nebraska
• One to three years of teaching experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS software is a plus
• Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students
• Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement
• Background check and official transcripts needed post job offer, pre-employment
