Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products. As an FEA Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced computational methods to analyze and optimize the structural integrity, performance, and reliability of various components and systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct finite element analysis simulations to evaluate the structural behavior and performance of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
2. Collaborate with design and development teams to define simulation objectives, constraints, and boundary conditions.
3. Develop and implement FEA models using software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar platforms.
4. Perform static, dynamic, thermal, and modal analyses to assess mechanical response under different operating conditions.
5. Interpret simulation results and provide actionable insights to guide design modifications and improvements.
6. Validate FEA predictions through correlation with experimental data and real-world testing.
7. Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
8. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in FEA methodologies, tools, and techniques.
9. Document analysis methodologies, assumptions, and results in clear and concise technical reports.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of FEA findings into product design and development processes.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in finite element analysis, including proficiency in FEA software tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.
3. Strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and numerical methods.
4. Familiarity with CAD software for geometry preparation and mesh generation.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work within established deadlines.
8. Experience with multiphysics simulations (e.g., thermal, fluid-structure interaction) is a plus.
9. Prior experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or consumer products is desirable.
10. Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and learn new technologies as needed.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
