Primary Function: To function as a member of the Utility Group. Performs duties as a Janitor and Waste Material Processor.

Tools and Equipment: Various types of equipment including but not limited to ordinary hand tools, hand grinders, forklifts, brooms, wheelbarrows, shovel, scoop, waste containers, gas powered sweeper, wood chipper, lawn equipment, janitorial equipment, etc.

Materials: Metal shavings and cuttings, oil absorbent compound, rags, paper towels, tissues, grinder belts, grinding disks, building materials, pallets, etc.

Source of Supervision: Foreman

Direction Exercised: None

Working Procedure:

Performs duties in utility labor. Performs at skill levels including but not limited to operating ordinary hand tools, hand grinders, wood chipper, lawn equipment, janitorial equipment, etc. Responsible for own work, but may work within a group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production. Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

Must hold any governmental mandated certificates and licenses.
