In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.

We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. We offer an innovative and collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to develop expertise on a wide variety of analytical instruments! This is a 3rd shift role! Schedule will be Sunday-Thursday 7pm-3am. This role will have a shift differential as well!

Job Description

Assists laboratory personnel in any way to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Dispose of samples once complete
• Place pipettes in washer
• Put away clean glassware, pipettes
• Wash stoppers
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to accurately read and record results
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to learn new tasks
• Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently

Additional Information

Other Factors:

• Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
• Mandatory immunizations and screening as required
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
