Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University is accepting applications for a Visiting Instructor of Accounting with an emphasis in Principles of Accounting and Intermediate Accounting who is competent in instructing students. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree/Doctoral ABD in Accounting or related discipline from an AACSB-accredited Program. This is a 9-month visiting position with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate level. Courses will be assigned based on the education and/or professional qualifications.

Education:The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of Master's degree/Doctoral ABD in Accounting or related discipline from an AACSB-accredited Program.
Required Licensing/Certification:Any professional license in accounting will be desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
Preferred:Strong educational and corporate experience in the accounting area is preferred. Previous experience in the development and teaching of university curricula in the general area of accounting is strongly preferred.
