Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist will also be responsible for the following tasks: picking and staging customer orders on the shipping dock, counting and cross checking all orders that are staged for next day delivery, replenishment of the warehouse picking locations, cleaning of the warehouse and individual picking locations, and other tasks deemed necessary by Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Work in a team-oriented environment by picking, preparing, and palletizing finished goods for shipment - working overtime as needed to accomplish the daily/weekly shipping goals.
•Operate forklift or other equipment as required in the movement of material within the distribution center. Complete a daily vehicle inspection report prior to operating any equipment. Responsible for the proper charging of the vehicles after use. Performing light maintenance duties as required (i.e. watering battery properly).
•Follows and understands all company and job specific procedures.
•Meets all facility standards applied within select departments.
•Will pick and stack product according to procedure and special instructions.
•Cross-checking as needed to 100% accuracy.
•Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as necessary.
•Follow all safety instructions to properly load / unload trailers according to procedure.
•Verify accuracy of shipments received, determine locations for products, and put product into available locations.
•Work independently and proactively. Clearly communicate with management and department personnel on key issues regarding returns processing.
•Adhere to all good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines and Drug Enforcement Laws.
•Perform general housekeeping duties.
•Work in teams as designated. (i.e. Safety, 5S, Lean, etc)

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
•Ability to perform basic math calculations
•Must have good verbal and written skills
•Must be able to work with minimal supervision
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
•Current forklift certification is required; stand-up forklift preferred
•Motorized (electric) pallet jack certification is a plus
•Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred

Education and Experience
•High School diploma or GED equivalent
•Minimum +1 years warehousing experience
•Oracle experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications
•Must be 18 years of age

Travel Requirements
•Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
•Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment
•Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
