Our client is seeking a Payments Platform - Risk and Compliance Analyst in Mexico, NM .

Role Description

• Provide consultation and challenge to the First Line of Defense's risk-taking and risk assessments
• Evaluate new products and initiatives from a non-financial risk perspective and provide consultation on new initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, controls, and/or monitoring
• Build/Review requirement documentation, identify key milestones, assist with testing plans, and develop appropriate measurement tools for monitoring output results
• Act as a subject matter expert for deposit and savings payments /processing and associated functions
• Challenge internal controls related to assigned areas and tasks
• Foster ongoing engagement with key stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required
• 10 or more years of risk management, compliance, control, and/or audit experience in a Bank or financial services institute with a demonstrated record of success and/or growth
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of all federal and state laws and regulatory guidance applicable to Banking institutions (e.g. FDIC, FRB, FFIEC, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge, understanding and application of risk management and compliance framework and guidelines
• Strong understanding of NACH Operating Rules
• Subject Matter Expert with ACH, Wires, Check Services, including Mobile Check Deposit, Personal Checks, Certified checks, etc
• Self-motivated individual with lean, innovative thought leadership methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements
• Demonstration of keen analytical/problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Robust communication skills: written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills
• Ability to be agile and multi-task under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Supporting vendor governance and relationship support
